"For Our Victory!" is an international online festival dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the Victory Day of the Soviet People over Fascism.
In our difficult time, when, in the light of global world events, forces hostile to our peoples are once again trying to slander and level the essence and meaning of the Victory over fascism; when the Nazis of all stripes raised their heads again, there is a reason to jointly remind the whole world of what our ancestors shed blood and died for, who overcame the main thing with superhuman efforts. the evil of the planet.
We invite to participate: veterans of the Great Patriotic War, residents of besieged Leningrad, home front workers, children of war, prisoners of ghettos and concentration camps, as well as children and grandchildren of all of the above; artists, musicians, poets, writers, journalists, media groups, political and public figures, government agencies and public organizations, local historians and historians, schoolchildren, students, and teaching staff – Your active participation in the international online festival "For Our Victory!" will make it a landmark event in 2023.
Representatives of public, veteran, search, ethnocultural, etc. are also invited to co-organizers and information partners of the project. organizations, mass media, bloggers, unofficial information projects – Your direct participation will significantly expand the geography and number of participants.
The co-organizers are expected to help in the search, selection and recommendation of potential festival participants; help in the dissemination of information about the festival.
Information partners are expected to publish announcements and materials of the festival, links to the festival's resources.
The main objectives of the Festival are:
- preservation of the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union of 1941-1945, uniting the countries and peoples of the post-Soviet space and far abroad;
- introducing young people to historical memory through direct participation in the project, which is a necessary component of cultural and civic socialization of the younger generation;
- the unity of peoples who share the idea of preserving universal values, etc., and the historical memory of the peoples of the former USSR;
- development of humanitarian intercultural dialogue in the field of public diplomacy.

Format: online, the festival is held on social media platforms created for it: Vkontakte, OK, Telegram, YouTube, etc.

Types of publications by category:
1. We remember and are proud of: welcoming addresses in video or text format on behalf of organizations and individual participants - to briefly express their attitude to the Great Patriotic War and what is happening today with the memory of it; format: official letters – jpg, jpeg; video – up to 3 min.
2. Victory Songs: welcome address of the artist (preferably) + music video - recordings of performances from previous years are available for participation;
format: appeal 1-2 minutes; video clip – up to 10 minutes.
3. Victory Poems: welcome address by the reader/author (preferably) + poetry reading about the Great Patriotic War; format: 1-2 min appeal; video clip – up to 5 minutes.
4. To be remembered:
a. Background (text) information about your ancestors who fought against fascism, underground fighters, home front workers, children of war, etc. + photos, archival documents;
b. Artistic and journalistic texts that have been published or have not been published online so far. The text should be dedicated to your loved one who survived the Great Patriotic War. Photos are related to the text.
c. Thematic photo collections and archival documents with text annotations. If there is more than one annotation, then the names of the text and photo files must match by numbers.
Format: photo - jpg, jpeg format; text – DOC format.
5. Living memory: a video recollection of a veteran / eyewitness of the war or a descendant of the hero in a story about his ancestor. Recordings from previous years are available for participation, indicating in the accompanying text whether the speaker is currently alive, if it is an elderly person.
The requirements for video materials are horizontal shooting, the minimum quality level is HD!
For heads of public organizations, it is mandatory to attach information about the organization's activities and several facts about work in this area in the country of residence of the project participant, in text format.
The content and design of the festival video, posting on the festival's page, and distribution on social networks are carried out by the festival organizer, who reserves the right to use all materials sent by the candidate for the PR purposes of the international online festival "For Our Victory!", as well as to provide this information to the media covering the festival. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the application for participation in the festival.
The participant confirms his participation in the festival by e-mail with a completed application and the necessary attachment by April 15, 2023 (! we suggest sending it as early as possible before this deadline!).
