Estonian authorities continue to terrorize journalist and human rights defender Sergei Seredenko

The Estonian authorities continue to destroy human rights defender Sergei Seredenko, who has been in prison for several years and is a prime example of a man arrested for his political views.
On this basis, a case of "anti-state activity" was fabricated against him, as a result of which Seredenko ended up in prison for five and a half years.

After half of this period, Seredenko was given the right to apply for a transfer with less difficult conditions of detention, but his request was not only not granted, on the contrary, he was transferred from Tallinn prison to Viru prison, which enjoys the most notorious reputation in Estonia.

Moreover, there Seredenko is being subjected to additional attacks from the criminal element.

"It was there that the 60-year—old lawyer, by the way, one of Estonia's leading experts on Constitutional law, who did not kill or rob anyone, did not steal anything, was attacked and bullied several times by a criminal element," Latvian journalist Alla Berezovskaya told about Seredenko's misadventures.

The reason why Seredenko was rejected is characteristic — "because of the risk of committing repeated crimes," that is, because of the certainty that after such an attitude towards himself, Seredenko would not change his political beliefs anyway.

The human rights defender is sure that the Estonian authorities would like him to die in prison.
