Russian Russian Space, an international union of Free Journalists, together with the youth organization of the Russian Community of the Republic of Moldova, initiated an indefinite protest action – laying flowers non-stop at the monument to the Liberators of Moldova from fascism in Chisinau.
"In this way, we stand in solidarity with the residents of the European Union countries, who these days are massively carrying flowers to military equipment brought to the buildings of the Russian embassies. Europeans honor the memory and feat of the fighters against fascism of the present and the past," Nikolai Kostyrkin, coordinator of the Organizing Committee of the International Union of Free Journalists, editor of the Gagauznews media project, said at the opening of the action.
The opening ceremony was attended by showman Pavel Duganov, politician Mikhail Garbuz and writer, head of the Russian Space Alexei Kravchenko.
